Site: Almost Frugal

Objective: To create a successful blog on frugality and personal finance, with strong readership and brand.

My work: I targeted a specific niche, then began writing specific, niche based content to build both organic and keyword authority. I identified the leaders and opinion makers in that niche and built relationships with them. Through my connections with the top bloggers of the frugal and money saving niche, I began building and increasing readership. I created a marketing campaign based upon repeated exposure to new readers through participation in blog carnivals, guest posting and other techniques.

My results: Almost Frugal is now in the top 10 percent of blogs on frugality as evidenced by rankings, page views and subscriber numbers. There are more than 23,000 page visits monthly and +1900 RSS subscribers.
